Training and
Continuing Education

We offer "Visions" training to areas that are not feasible for our large troupe of twenty men & women.

The training consists of a three day workshop, for 16 to 20 people, taught by the director/author of "Visions" and an associate. The "Visions" training is from twelve to fourteen hours and culminates in a staged performance of the "Visions play. No acting experience needed.

Our training sessions have included clients from treatment centers, correction facilities, colleges and allied professionals. Examples of past "Visions" trainings include the following:

  • Eva's Village, Treatment Center, Paterson, NJ
  • Phoenix House Career Academy, Brooklyn, NYC
  • Samaritan Village Treatment Center, Bronx, NYC
  • Kintock Correctional Center, Newark, NJ
  • Bishop's Council On Alcohol And Other Drugs, Lansing, Mich.
  • West Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown, WV (Participants received Graduate Credits in Behavioral Medicine and Counseling)

 

The "Visions" training includes transportation of director and associate from New Jersey, meals, lodging and a small stipend to cover lost wages. We can be lodged in treatment centers and dorms.

"Visions" has received continuing education credits from the Addiction Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey.
